Bob Greig lives in Devon with his two daughters, Priya (aged 11) and Anya (8). Bob has been looking after his girls full-time and on his own for the last four years. It's an experience he describes as exhilarating and fun and from time to time challenging beyond words.
I set up www.OnlyDads.org in May 2007 to address a very simple need. I had been a lone father for three years by then and realised I had never met anyone else in my position. I had friends and colleaugues but no-one with the emotional shorthand to know what I was feeling and going through. I felt that all I needed at that stage was to meet another single dad and have a pint and a chat.
Since then, the organisation has grown, and now offers direction towards a professional network of individuals and companies that can offer single dads specialist help and support.
We are an open organisation and keen to hear from other single dads as to how we can grow and improve the services we offer.
Our mission is simple – to support dads and their families as best as we can.
